Bajaj General Insurance launches NRInsure

Hyderabad: Bajaj General Insurance Limited announced the launch of NRInsure. This product serves as an add-on for the My Health Care Plan (MHCP), the company’s retail health insurance offering.
With targeted benefits for NRIs and OCIs, the add-on provides a 35 per cent discount on base policy premiums for Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs). This discount applies across all MHCP plan variants. Customers can select the add-on during the purchase of a new policy. Eligibility requires a declaration of NRI or OCI status along with the submission of documentation. The product addresses the needs of individuals who live overseas but maintain health insurance in India. While providing a lower premium, the add-on retains all features, benefits, and waiting periods found in the base policy.
